    Kesler, Bieksa, Perry, Getzlaf.
    The All Douche Team?

    • jordyhawk

With Kesler extending and Perry and Getzlaf already locked up I don’t think it’s too early to bring up talk of a “Douche Dynasty.” They’re so douche-deep they could even let Wiz go and not be any less douchey. The Douchey Ducks.

J Wiz was traded to Carolina.

        • jordyhawk

That’s why I said they let him go.

          • SuperHawk27

Ah, The way you wrote it can go either way. (In my head at least). Either way….Ducks are the new St. Louis of the West.

          • 60MinutesBaby60

There’s a competition going on … “Looch” a King now and all …

This reference maybe too prehistoric for some if not alot of TCI guys but WC games may start resembling those old San Francisco Bay Area Bombers roller derby matches (on good ol’ channel 26.) 😉

I remember that, UHF. Back in the days when you had to sit right in front of the (black and white) TV, and turn the channel manually. Sometimes with some aluminum foil to supplement the antenna. And all the big number channels (26, 34, 44, etc.) had their own dial, because the other dial only went to 13 I think.

My kids have Netfilx, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Vimeo, and Comcast, they don’t even believe me. I haven’t told them about the phone that had a circle you had to dial.

One of my cousins knocked over a drink into the back of the old 19″ TV one Thanksgiving…Blew out one of the tubes…My dad didn’t buy a new TV for like 2 months…and then it was a little 13″ color tv. We had that in our family room as the “family TV” for at least a couple years.

Nothing like watching the Bears on a 13″ TV…thanks to Dollar Bill, we didn’t have to try and watch a hockey game on that thing.

          • Jim

Color 13″? Oh man, you guys had it good. My dad never sprang for color tv. I had to watch Felix the Cat, Magilla Gorilla, and Speed Racer in B/W.

          • Oh, man…I used to love Ch.44 as a little kid.

A little long, but still fun…

I remember that chit. Funny thing is it seems like yesterday. Remember crazy Jimmy Piersol and Harry Caray doing White Sox games, think it was channel 44, might have been 26.

      • Shooter

Jesus…they’re just one Neal or Ribiero away from a Douche-pocalypse.

      • 60MinutesBaby60

Never’ve seen the show, but a good joke bud.

    • They all deserve one another, that’s for damn sure.

Perfect locker room to get mumps…

    • chichicagochi

I don’t understand how teams like PIT, ANH continue year after year to blatantly ignore their glaring defensive issues and then double down on more forwards

      • Sopel the catfish

Every game and every series they lost was because the other team scored more goals than them (never mind you it’s because they LET IN more goals than their opponents)

  • Sopel the catfish

The title for the first article scared me, I thought it was going to be a link about Krugs signing an offer sheet for Dallas or something.

  • cza

It’s going to be great when we kick Anaheim’s ass again.

    • Sopel the catfish

If they can make it past LA. heh.

  • 60MinutesBaby60

I think I read this Radke dude bagged a hat trick one of the scrimmages. (Granted the goalie-ing wasn’t going to leave Crow or DarlingClem concerned about their roster spots)

Love a good “kid makes good” story ala TVR’s would love to see one coming outta this prospect camp – ‘specially at the blue line.

Just out of curiosity, do we have an ETA on the exit interview articles?

    • 60MinutesBaby60

Who’s leaving? Or did I miss something? (No sarc – Sometimes I’m slower on the uptake than others – times and/or people.)

      • Sopel the catfish

I’m pretty sure that’s what they (CI) usually call the end of year player articles, each major player usually gets one to himself with some of the articles talking about two or three players (whiskey is a factor that may not be true). Like an individual recap for the season.
