Belesky is a punk. Watch at around 25 seconds into this when he pushes Kane. Kane torches him and he reacts like a 7 year old. No class and no respect.

    • Brandon Murray

Watched it. Saw it. Not surprised by it. If you’ve watched Belesky throughout the series, he has some skill, but often throws temper tantrums and reacts like a 6 year old being told “no” at Toys ‘R Us.

    Bulletin board material from Silverberg:

“As I said, at the end of the day we lost the game but obviously it’s good that we know when we play good hockey they can’t really match up against us. It’s something we can take that back with us to Game 7 at home.”

    • Son you’ve fought a brave and valiant battle and, coupled with a major strategic blunder in the third phase of the campaign, do indeed live to fight another day. But when the T-800’s wearing white sweaters are bearing down on you Saturday night and ripping your fucking guts out, I hope you remember these foolish words in your final moments.

He is really asking for a karmic smack down, isn’t he?

      • ZigZags82

        Yes. Yes he is.

The funny thing is that dribble like this keeps coming out of the holes in the middle of their faces.
Perry after game 4: “Whatever, it is one game and we still have home ice”
Kesler: “They’re wearing down. No human can take this much punishment”
Getzlaf after game 5: “We dominated play the entire game and just relaxed a little in the last 2 minutes” (when clearly the only thing they dominated was period 1 and took advantage of a Bickell blunder in OT)
Belesky: “I’m so sick of these guys” (as if we are the ones repeatedly interfering with the goalie, throwing cross checks, or laying Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat elbows to the face, oh wait that’s them…..)
Now Silverberg actually believes that they played good hockey last night. When it was even strength and the best players were on the ice, it was 3-0 real quick. If not for a fortunate deflection on a penalty that should have never been called & an interference that wasn’t, this game may have been a shutout.
I do not know what awaits in Disneyland, I can only hope that when the handshakes are being distributed, that Perry, Getzlaf, Kesler & Co. are pondering what could have been as the boys in white are presented with the WCF trophy.

They honestly sound like they are in denial, are just that arrogant, or both.

If you want to prove people wrong, you’ve just got to go out and do it. Yeah, we blew 3-2 series leads the last two years, but no one is going remember that if we go out there on Saturday night and beat these guys and go play in the Stanley Cup Final. We need to get back to work and we’ll start to do that tomorrow.
      — Ducks forward Kyle Palmieri following a loss to the Blackhawks in Game 6 on Wednesday

      • ZigZags82

Lol. It’s the same kind of thing man. What freaking arrogance.

    • ZigZags82

Seriously? He’s gone through this series and he believes that?

Oh my god please end their season Saturday night Hawks. What arrogance, but maybe it’s more denial……..

  • jhb

Boy, the OC Register writer who “predicted” game 7 – which Puck Daddy’s resident Duck superfan, Josh Cooper, took GREAT offense to – doesn’t think much of the Ducks’ chances on Saturday.

    • ZigZags82

Josh Cooper is an insult to journalism anyway lol.

This OC Register writer has it right. He’s clearly impartial and realistic. He’s not necessarily a fan just because he writes about the team, no?

In what he’s talking about, I hope the Ducks carry over the same tension and nervousness choking they’ve been prone to do on Saturday night as the grizzled Hawks pounce on the hopeless Duck prey for a berth in the Final.

      (Great analogy Eh? It fits.)

Anyone else think this would be hilarious if it actually happened?
