Hockeenight. Geez thanks for the link.

    • Accipiter

      Some good insight there.

What is the name of the award for best hockey blog article?

        the CNS award?

        • Z-man19

          The laaarmer Loves It award

  • DatGlovehandTho

3 in 20. Ugh. Just fucking gross.

    • BrandonPirri

It feels so good to be back.

      • SuperHawk27

        Welcome Back!

  • SuperHawk27

Apparently Pirri has been called back up! Who goes down, or who is getting traded?

    • Bannerman

Nobody. They’ve had an open roster spot most of the year.

      • SuperHawk27

        Nice, I hope Handzus sits….

        • Z-man19

          I’m guessing Bickell

Don’t read the comments! Don’t read the comments! Don’t read the comments!
I REALLY need to remember the “no comment reading” rule when looking at other articles. They want to trade everyone and no one is worth their contract. And Bollig is the bomb!

  • MySpoonIsTooBig

Let the debate begin – where does Pirri slot in to start with? Is he going to the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th line, or does he start off in the press box? Assuming he goes right into the line-up, who’s in the press box? I.E. does the message to Bickell or whatever the fuck scratching him was last for more than 1 game? And if Pirri and Bickell both suit up in Calgary, which forward is watching from above?

What I’d really like to see is Pirri at 2C between Kane and Saad, Shaw back to 3C between Bickell and Versteeg, Zus to the wing on the 4th line with Kruger at C and Smith on the other side, and Bollig relegated to the press box. I mean sure, it seems unlikely that Pirri will go right to 2C, that Bickell will so quickly and effectively exit Q’s dog house, or that Bollig will be scratched, but a man can dream can’t he?

    • laaarmer

      Here it is

      When Bickell can play

      Kane Toews Sharp
      Hossa Pirri Saad
      Versteeg Kruger Bickell
      Smith Handzus Shaw

Move Shaw when Bickell is out and replace him with Bollig

      You likey?

      • SuperHawk27

What about moving Handzus to the press box for Bollig, then flipping Shaw and Kruger…? As much as I dislike Bollig, he hasn’t been that bad.

        • laaarmer

He’s not as good as the others, but for those guys it wont matter.

          • SuperHawk27

Hopefully it won’t matter…maybe Pirri can inject some new life into the team and get things clicking again with his offensive tempo.

      • MySpoonIsTooBig

I would not complain if those were the lines during tomorrow’s morning skate…

    • DatGlovehandTho

I can’t imagine the top line gets shaken up the same day that a new 2C comes in, even if it would benefit from it. I think Q keeps everything else as constant as possible.

      So:

      Sharp – Toews – Hossa
      Saad – Pirri – Kane
      Bickell – Zus – Versteeg
      Bollig – Kruger – Smith

      IDEALLY:

      Sharp – Toews – Kane
      Saad – Pirri – Hossa
      Bickell – Shaw – Versteeg
      Bollig – Kruger – Smith

Hey look a new thread and they say Seabrook should be in the box. Who saw that coming?
